A thermal motor protector is a simple device designed to protect VFDs or electric motors on the upstream side of a contactor. Motor protectors shield your application against short circuit situations, thermal overloads, and phase loss or imbalance. They can also be used as a rated disconnecting means.

The 330-T25 line offers both thermal and magnetic circuit protection from your motor. The 330-M25 line is then intended for magnetic short circuit protection only.
