PLM is a sister company to Adalet, which manufactures medium / high voltage cable couplers. PLM Cable Couplers can be found on every continent in this world and are commonly used for utility power transmission, strip mining, open pit mining, and underground mining. PLM designs their cable couplers so that the ground circuit is always the first to make contact and the last to break contact. The PLM Cable Couplers use a solid cast aluminum housing, which is grounded to the ground circuit in the cable. This same heavy duty aluminum housing also enables these couplers to be able to withstand the environments either indoor or outdoor without being damaged physically or by corroding. PLM builds their Cable Couplers in a number of different, but interchangeable types such as the 415 series which has Male and Female plug types with options for Standard Thread, Quick Thread, and Quick Turn attachment options.
